ख्वाहिशो का तालाब एसा बांधों,
की खुद दरिया भी तालाब से मीलने को तरसे

DREAMUM,WAKEUPM AND CRITICALUM CONDITIONUM-  Well it literally made me laugh out of my bed when I first heard those lyrics from the movie AIYYA of Rani Mukherjee, But when I heard the song properly I found it quite interesting. The lyricist has rightly said that we do dream, we dream big and finally we wake up and then we just ponder over the situation and think what happened?

We just feel that is there any realistic chance of fulfilling those dreams?

BUT WHAT ALLOW US TO DREAM THE DREAMS?

WISHES???

If you thought wishes then my dear friend you would score 10 on 10 in your report card. Yes, those wishes are the reason for whatever we do in our life. Consider any situation or scenario; you would be because of your wishes only. This wish gives us a chance to live life. It’s this wishes which makes us and allow us to think. Consider a situation where you are in a desert, you know that there is no water anywhere and you see mirage far away. You know that there is just an illusion. You know that you will end up as a fool, but still you run towards that place and then that thing disappears.

DO YOU KNOW THE REASON BEHIND THIS?

Somewhere in your heart there is hope, a hope that may fulfill your wishes and maybe you might find a rainbow among dark clouds. Take any situation any person, does not matter his caste, creed, color, ethnicity, able, disable, etc but all of them, each of them is today respiring in this world to fulfill their wishes.

LET’S HAVE A STORY.
There was a small, shanty, dusty town somewhere in India which was having merely a population of around 1000.A typical slum area where penurious people were waging a war daily with life to fulfill there needs. The two lanes were opening towards stone-broken houses. There were children playing in puddles of gutter which had mosquitoes and tadpoles as there part of games where the insects had no role in their games but they were just helping them to get out of the filthy water by sucking the blood and fulfilling their own needs. Thus destitute of basic necessities, people were living in the manmade hell. It looked as if the street dogs away were having far better life as lastly they had to doze in those gutters and search for a prey or had to wait for the leftovers if any. The second part was like a feast as it was impractical when you have humans who eyes over leftovers.

There was an old couple who was able to visualize life but unfortunately they were not having vision. Yes there was an octogenarian couple who had been living in this shabby area without their viewing ability. It was a hard trodden life for the man who was sitting along with his grandchildren and wife. The old man was lighting a bidi (cigarette made with very less amount of tobacco and made from leaves) which was particularly a cheaper one then the one which his sons were smoking. The couple had lived enough but still they always wished to live a life far beyond their imagination. Apart from all this there were those taunting of the daughter in laws of his 2 sons who were always having a reason to accuse the old hapless couple.

The lady along with her husband daily used to worship god. Each new morning the couple used to had a new hope and new wishes that may get fulfill. They both had heard that somewhere there is a huge mass of water called Ocean but they had never experienced it or seen it. The man used to pray to god that they hope that they can fulfill their wish. After all the hard work done in bringing up their children, at the end they had to hear those miserable comments from their own children. Though they had always suffered but they never used to stop dreaming. Every morning they had a new wish, on someday they wished to have gold ornaments, some day a huge mansion and on some day to see the 7th generation of their. Now this is the best part of India. Here people are always theist and hopeful.

One day god finally heard the couple and he spared a thought that this couple has been praying to him daily and all the time they rise up with new wish. He thought that this couple is really pitiable and he should grant them a wish. So finally one fine day the old man got a dream where god told him that he was god and seeing their urge to live more in hope of a better life, he gives them 1 wish which they have to express in only one sentence. The man said that he has thousands of desires. So god told that he gives him one week time and he would again come to fulfill their wishes. Next morning the man told his wife and she was astonished hearing the dream. The couple was now unable to sleep. On one end they heard there grandchildren playing in the same puddle along with those bugs. He called them and hugged them and found that there was a loin cloth on child's body which was used just to cover the private part. Then there was their own wish to see the ocean and 7 the generation. It was as if their wishes like horses.

Finally the man cracked an idea and he was ready for one wish. The shrewd octogenarian was ready and one fine night he heard god again. So the man replied that he urges to sit on a golden sofa along with his wife on 7th floor of his own house seeing the maids playing with their 7th generation near the window which faces the ocean.

Well really this is life all about. Sometimes our wishes come true but it gets very late and sometimes we leave dreaming seeking the fact that they will never get compete. SO ALWAYS WISH TO DREAM ..........Who knows when your wish gets granted. But one should also work for that wish or one should be witty enough to know the opportunity.

Someone has rightly said “Ships at a distance have every man's wish on board. For some they come in with the tide. For others they sail forever on the same horizon, never out of sight, never landing until the Watcher turns his eyes away in resignation, his dreams mocked to death by Time. "
